My name is Kris (but if I'm close to you in game you already knew this :P)
I'm in my mid 20's and in a relationship
I live in the USA in a state that's known for its sunshine
Time zone is GMT -5
I work/study in the Hospitality and Tourism field
I started to play Popmundo in 2011 but I wasn't too interested in the game and didn't like it much. I was confused about how to play and I thought it was silly how people liked something when they couldn't see their actual character and only pictures. I decided to give it another try after some months on a new character named Imani. Needless to say I'm completely hooked and the rest, as they say, is history!
I'm mostly active in the early afternoons and again late night
I really dislike when people can't separate their real lives with ingame life, especially when it comes to drama coming into the game. I'm here in popmundo to have fun; not be stressed out.
I promise I'm nice, so if you ever want to send me a message in game, feel free :)
I don't mind ooc conversations once I feel comfortable with you and we've been playing together for a while. I think sometimes it's only natural to want to know a bit about the person you've been playing with :) Who knows.. maybe we'll even become proper friends! I have a handful of lovely players who I consider real life friends. (and by lovely, I mean weird :P rofl! j/k)
I prefer 3rd person, past tense narrative style, with a mix of popmundo and real life elements. I enjoy long descriptive messages with as much information as possible. Clothing, the environment/surroundings.... don't just describe what your character is doing, tell me what they're thinking. The more you write, the better. Give me a reason to actually want to respond, and most importantly, something to work with. We're developing characters, relationships, stories that all add to the essence of our characters; so let's make it interesting :)
In addition to what's stated above, I must add that all my scenes are original so I expect the same amount of effort and thought to be reciprocated. (No one likes old recycled material!)
I'm very understanding when it comes to real life getting in the way of activeness. I will always let my role playing partners know in some way or another when I will be away from the game and I appreciate if you do the same. If you're gone for weeks on end without a word, please don't be upset if my character has moved on.
I try to show each of my characters (especially the ones in relationships) equal amount of attention. So if you're too busy/preoccupied with other things to pay some attention to your character and keep the rp going, we can agree to drop the roleplay. I try my best not to keep my partners waiting (again, sometimes rl gets in the way- which is totally fine!) because I know I don't like to wait days for a reply. This is why communication is important.
Please, do not "move" my characters, especially if we have only been rping for a short amount of time. Please don't assume that you know how they will react in any situation. If we've been playing for a long time and you need to physically lead them from one place to another, that's okay or you can ask me ooc how my character would reaction in any circumstance.
I roleplay in English only - with a few phrases spoken in a different language here and there, according to the context of the scene.
I do use NPCs sometimes to help add to the roleplaying.
Please don't take everything at face value, my character could be physically located in one city but I'm rping them in another. Or, they could appear to be a virgin in game but in their story, they aren't.
I'm not into any supernatural beings except zombies on DotD and Ghost hunting in Antenora.
I'm comfortable with writing tasteful mature content once I know if my partner is comfortable with such scenes - and their relationship has progressed naturally, of course. (I will ask you beforehand)
